We offer birth support for mothers who have followed the Gentle Birth Method. Our GBM Practitioners provide support during and after birth, in either a hospital or home setting. We also work with private midwives who are GBM Practitioners, should you wish to consider their services.

About
Gentle Birth mothers attending our clinic and classes can book our practitioners for birth attendance at home or in the hospital.
When labor begins, call us, and a practitioner will arrive within an hour. We'll help you relax and establish labor contractions using reflexology, massage, homeopathic remedies, and visualization. We provide mental and emotional support to manage contractions and focus on efficient cervical and pelvic opening, guiding you to breathe naturally. If medical intervention is needed, we'll remain with you until your baby is skin-to-skin on your breast, ensuring your comfort and happiness.

Our Fees
Gentle Birth practitioners: £2500
£1250 deposit to confirm booking (non-refundable) with balance of £1250 payable at week 38 when your birth assistant goes on-call. This fee applies to a maximum of 12 hours of hands-on birth support.Additional hours are charged at £50 an hour for GBM practitioners and £100 an hour if a GBM doctor.

Home Birth Midwives
Debbie Linger, a Gentle Birth Method practitioner and close colleague of Gowri, offers specialised insight into birth preparation. As a midwife at Forest Midwives, Debbie and her colleague Rebecca have supported many home births. Contact Forest Midwives directly for information on packages and services.
