The 4-week GBM Hypnobirth ‘The Gowri Way’ visualisation course for mothers and couples.

This course commences either on the first Saturday of every month from 10 am to 11:30 am (UK time) or on Tuesdays from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm (UK time).
Please note that class dates may occasionally be subject to change depending on the cohort’s availability, to ensure the best possible group experience.

Included is complimentary pregnancy yoga from 20 weeks gestation, held online via Zoom every Wednesday at 6 pm.

Self-hypnosis teaches you to mentally switch off from your immediate surroundings and enter a dream world that is safe and calm. You are in an alternate state of awareness where everything around you feels distant and peaceful—like daydreaming. In self-hypnosis, you are mentally receptive to positive suggestions and knowledge of how your body gives birth, giving you confidence in your innate ability to give birth naturally. This prepares both your body and mind for a calm, confident birth.

Visualisation helps you to mentally “see” and influence the natural processes within your body—your muscles, cervix, and birthing zones—while promoting hormonal balance. You will also visualise and communicate with your baby in the womb.

The aim of the Gentle Birth Method Hypnobirth ‘The Gowri Way’ programme is to increase confidence, deepen the bond between mother, father, and baby, and remove fear surrounding the birth process.

This programme is unique. Dr. Gowri Motha was the first UK doctor to use self-hypnosis and visualisation for pregnancy. She combines her medical expertise, neuro-linguistic programming techniques, and decades of experience supporting mothers during pregnancy and birth to bring you this transformative course.
